Berg Builds respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected through bergbuilds.com, why it is collected, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide when you:

• join the Berg Builds email newsletter;
• submit a customer review;
• request a custom order or upload a reference file;
• contact Berg Builds by email; or
• place an order through Square.

This information may include your name, email address, optional phone number, product selections, custom-order details and optional reference files, review, permission to publish a review, and order or fulfillment details.

How information is used

Berg Builds uses this information to process and support orders, respond to questions, send requested business updates, review and publish approved customer feedback, prevent spam, and improve the website and customer experience.

Payments and service providers

Payments are completed through Square. Berg Builds does not receive or store your complete payment-card number through this website. Website forms and hosting are provided through Netlify. Email subscriptions and requested messages may be processed through Brevo. These service providers process information under their own privacy policies.

Email updates

Newsletter emails are sent only when you provide consent. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting Berg Builds.

Order review requests

If you choose the review-request option at checkout, Berg Builds stores your email address and Square order identifier long enough to confirm the order and send one review request after the order is complete. This choice is optional and does not affect checkout.

Customer reviews

Reviews are not published automatically. Berg Builds reviews submissions first and publishes a review only when the customer has granted permission. A published review may include the display name, product, star rating, and review text submitted by the customer.

Cookies and local storage

The website uses browser storage to remember shopping-cart contents, app preferences, whether a newsletter pop-up has been shown, and your analytics choice. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics is loaded to help Berg Builds understand visits and site usage. Analytics is not loaded when you choose “No thanks.” You can clear your browser storage to reset that choice.

Data sharing and retention

Berg Builds does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when needed to operate the website, process payments, fulfill orders, prevent fraud or spam, or comply with legal requirements. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for these purposes and recordkeeping obligations.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted to Berg Builds. You may also withdraw permission to display a published review.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without permission from a parent or guardian.

This policy may be updated as the website or business changes. The latest version and update date will appear on this page.

Referral information

If you create a referral link, Berg Builds stores your name, email address, unique referral code, qualifying-order status, and reward status to administer the program, email earned rewards, and prevent duplicate credits. Referral links contain the referral code but do not contain your email address.
